The Queensland Stock Route Network and the New South Wales Travelling Stock Routes have many values, and should be conserved as Protected Corridors for Travelling Stock and Biodiversity Conservation.

The Environmental Defenders Office (Qld) Inc.
The EDO is a non-profit, non-government community legal centre working in the area of public interest planning and environment law. They were told on 4 July 2012 that the State government has ceased all State funding to EDO Qld and EDO-NQ without notice on 30 June 2012. This is half of their recurrent funding.
